Hey whats going on man? I been frustrated myself. Im new to recording with midi.
I have ProTool 7.4 and im using my Vista 32-bit laptop and im having troubles connecting my wk-200 casio keyboard to install into my computer to use midi. It keeps tellingme to install casio-usb driver cd.
But guess what? IT DIDNT COME WITH A CD!!! Lol So i went to the casio website where they have driver downloads and when i would do that vista would tell me it doesnt recognize the driver. So i call Casio support and theyhave nobody there that knows anything about music. The two females i talked to were programed robots just reading from some 1972 manual that they were taught to read for all problems. They told me about the advise the older man gave u about windows updatesfor new drivers and that didnt work. So after all that all they could say is contact windows support and tell them i am missing a driver.

Generally speaking, manufacturers are the one responsible for providing drivers for their products.

Every once in a while you can get a generic driver that may or may not work with the device. Unfortunately,we don’t have the driver for your Keyboard.
